Soon as I saw fem!Tieria I had to do it (I’m pretty sure no one who knows me is surprised). If you can guess from the title or the makers (OMEGA 2-D), it’s a crack doujin, and an awesome one at that. It takes place after the series and is basically a parody of what would be the 00 movie.
NOTES
The word “Fu” (腐) in the title means “rotten” — like in “fujoshi” (腐女子) — and in this context it means something more like “spoiled”. The general idea of it, I believe, is punning off of the format for Rebuild of Evangelion titles and using the word “Fu” to imply it’s gone rotten or been spoiled due to all the gag/crack content in the doujin. Why didn’t I just make the title “Rebuild of Gundam 00: Rotten”? Well, it’s not very straight-forward, nor does it sound good. Since we’re releasing in English and there was a pre-existing English title, it seemed best to go with that. Also, don’t the Eva movies release under the secondary name?
We may have missed some jokes, but unfortunately not all of us are familiar with every series they parodied. If you catch anything, be sure to let us know. I also passed the script to Eej for a second edit.
